Meant for the 31st.

Well, it has been several days since I have been on-line. Though life is not pressure laden here as it is in the states, you forget yourself and think about getting on-line just before your head hits the pillow. I have been enjoying being out in town with friends the last couple of days.

The town is full to capacity with all the vacationers and the regular town folk. You cannot walk anywhere in downtown without wondering where all these people came from. It is actually pretty neat because we have gotten away from that in the States. Maybe as much as I hate the mall, I need to go so I can enjoy that close to people feeling.

Last night (30th) they had a show of a fairly famous singer down on the beach event area. Daniel (not pronounced the same as you would in the States.) He sings a type of country called Sertaneja. It is good and I actually understood a great deal of it. The show was supposed to begin at 10. The Brazilians are a nighttime people. It began just after 11 and ended around 1. I then walked to a friend’s house so my dad could pick me up and not have to get in the downtown traffic. Boy the traffic was horrible. It is hard to believe a town can get this full. I guess it is like Lexington during Christmas or a Florida city in the summer.

Today, I was hot to beat it all. I took a picture of the thermometer and it was 98 degrees. (When I figure out how to put in pictures, I will add it.) I am going to die of the cold when I get home. I also went into downtown to go paragliding. WOW that was amazing. We went up the mountain and glided down. You could see the town like a postcard and the ocean was beautiful. That is how to see the grandness of God’s creation, from above. I recommend it, highly. (tee hee)

Well, I want to wish you all a happy new year full of grace and mercy from our Savior. May he grant you a peace above understanding and an understanding of his direction.

Blessing to you all.
