And then came 32

Yes, it true, for those of you who did not know, it is my birthday. I am now a 32 year old woman. An adult if you may say. Though I in no way feel like a real adult and by no means feel like I am 32. Anyway, it is GREAT to be 32, alive and well and in the hand of my Lord God and Savior.

It was a lovely day for a birthday. Though the weather was not so lovely the day was. I started with a call from my dearest mother who informed me that what I thought was the birthday gifts of my sister-in-law were actually my birthday presents. Lovely earrings and pendant. I also got to talk to Joyce since she showed up at mom's while we were on the phone. (Yes, I did cry from missing her and Brasil.) Work was nice as well. I did not get much done though I received many well wishes from my coworkers. I felt energized all day long. God was propelling me along in the day. I received several e-mail greetings from here and from Brasil as well. That helped to sooth my heartsickness for there. God continued to propel me along. On my way to dinner, my dad called to wish me a happy birthday and we had a lovely conversation about his day looking at buses and talking about seminary course for the church in Caragua. He and the pastor are thrilled about implementing prayerwalking in the seminary teaching and then in the church as a whole. I got to help in that. What a thrill to my soul. Then I went to have diner with my friend Jennifer D. as we were going to the UK Women's basketball game. Much to my joy, I found 3 other AMAZING friends joined our dinner. (Thank you Sheila, Cindy and Debbie.) That just made my already overflowing cup, overflow that much more. Thank you God for the amazing people you have placed in my life. Then there was the basketball game. UK versus Georgia. UK played a great game and BEAT Georgia. Yes, I did say that UK won and in Rupp Arena. It was spectaclar. Then to top the evening off, I ran by Ashlee's to drop off a gift to her and just to see her as I have missed her. She makes my heart smile. I don't believe that God could have orchestrated a better birthday. It was amazing. My cup is beyond overflowing.

Thank you to all of you who have wished me well and prayed God's blessing on my life. May God bless you richly as you go throughout your days.
