Mary K.'€™s Blog

Yes, it has been a while

Thank you heater for the loving, yet mean push to update my blog. It has been very hard readjusting to the tempo of life in the States after a month of bliss in the country of my heart, Brasil. I still feel like I cannot quite catch up. The house is messy, work is busy, I am making time for friends, planning a great departure and trying to maintain my sanity. That last one is hard enough on its own now with all the other added on top, it is becoming elusive. hehe

Well, for those of you who I have not had the change to catch up with, here is the current dish. (Some of this will be new to those of you in the loop as it is new intel.)

W and I have com to a consensus over a month, no date in that month yet. We will wed in November. (That is 9 months from now. Holy Cow!!!) Everyone is invited, you just have to get down there. I will find a place to put you up. I will keep you updated as to any more wedding news. Yeah we have a month, it was a bit hard getting him to settle on a month, we will see what it is like to get a date out of him.

The walls to the house will will live in will begin to go up in the next 2 weeks. Yeah, we will have a place to live. We may not have much in that house but we will have a place to live. It will be onto he Vocational School property as it will be a part of my salary as the Director of the school.

I have begun work on my internet course where I am learning to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I am finished with the first 3 parts of a 10 part course. I am waiting on the score of the 3 module before I can progress. Yeah, I finally got off my butt to get this done.

I am working on selling my stuff. I have a list and I may begin to post some stuff. It is mostly furniture so if you are interested, drop me an email, we will chat. Most everything has to go as I cannot ship due to the exorbitant cost.

My parents will be Stateside on the 11th and will be in the States through March. They will be travelling a great deal on the weekends but it will be nice to see them some.

I have created a large list with several internal lists of things I need to do and lists of things I need to buy or people I need to contact, etc. It is a long list and daunting at times but it helps to have it.

I have a timeline half mapped out concerning my exodus. Please be in prayer over that cause it is a big deal.

I am staying sane, by the grace of God. My relationship with God has been the glue keeping my life together.

I hope to see most of you all multiple times before I move. Drop me a line and lets mark a time to get together.

Love you all.
