Lunch was heaven.
I also slept in.
Okay, don't stop reading here just cause you are not liking me for not being employed. There are a couple of perks to being gainfully unemployed and one of those is lunching with dear friends. M is looking and preparing to move just as I am preparing for my move. In order to get some M-time before we must part ways, I lunched with her today. (We are also mini-spa-ing next week). Normally, we are the World's WORST at making a decision as to where to dine but this one came easy. We went to Cosi in Hamburg. If you have not been - oh my goodness - you need to go. It is a very pleasant restaurant with a good menu, great food, and fabulous atmosphere! Just go. We both enjoyed something different and each others company. My friendship with M is timeless. I also told her that though it will be difficult to part, I know in the next 20 years she will come to see me, of that I am sure.
Well, not only did we have a great repast and conversation, M splurged to get us S'mores for 2. Oh my great goodness - that was the bombdigity. I jokingly told M it was blogworthy and well, here is the blog to prove it. It was so much fun and sooooooo good. We roaste marshmellows over the fire-gel and put it on the graham crackers and Hershey chocolate. Waht wonderful memories of childhood. I even charred up my extra marshmellows, just the way I love them. It was such ooey-gooey fun.
I have needs to end this post as there is packing to get done and sitting here making my memory permanent won't get it done and I cannot just shovel it all into a big plastic bag and drag it with me. (hehe)
