Let's get reaquainted.....

Hi, I'm MK married to the great W living here in Brazil. Just thought I'd let you know that those facts have not changed since you last heard from me in the blogging realm.

Sorry it has been so long, a great many things have conspired against me to keep me from the keyboard, laziness being the biggest culprit. hehe Beyond my general laziness, I stay tired these days. That can be attributed tot he fact that we are 6 months into an arduous task, housing my yet to be born. It is amazing what God does inside the female body to generate a new life. For those of you who have not yet been informed, we are 80% sure it is a girl. She will be CIHQ. Let me tell you, she is letting herself be know to me. She is wiggling, rolling, flipping, kicking, maybe even waving cause you never know which appendage is bing used in your side. It is neat and weird all at the same time. It makes me nervous to think that she will be here around the end of Oct the beginning of Nov and that will begin the roller coaster of parenthood for W and I. (This is where if you are a parent, you chuckle and begin to pray for us and if you are not yet a parent you laugh and begin to pray for us as well. hehe)

Let see, we have also had a small bevy of visitors at the parents so that has kept us busy as well. E Rob has been with us again this year and as always, she is a joy and it will be super sad to see her head back to the US tomorrow but she is starting college and is following what God has been setting forth in her life to be done. Good luck my Baby Girl, you are going to be fine.

Other new news, I HAVE MY PERMANENT VISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially a definitive resident of Brazil. Woo Hoo! Now the next thing we will deal with are naturalization so I can have double citizenship. YEAH!!!!! I cannot be thrown out of the country, not that I thought I would be but there is always that small fear in the back of your mind that someone somewhere could get ticked at you and get you kicked out. Now I ask your prayers for the definitive papers for my folks. Their paperwork got put in a little after mine so theirs should be along any day now. It is a relief beyond relief to have my Brazilian identification card for foreigners in my possession. YEAH again!!!

Let's see, anything else?????? I don't think so. The baby, the visa, life in general. We are good. W is staying busy. Mom and Dad are good.

Love you all and miss you too. Come visit sometime.
